DutchDrebus (5938) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - APR 22, 2017
Bottle @ home. Brown colour with a large off-white head. Smells sweet, liquorice, slightly iron, raisins, salmiak. Tastes sweet, hint of iron, liquorice, raisins. I hope the slight iron taste goes away after a few sips, then it’s an enjoyable brew. Medium body, soft carbo.

DwarfeD (3442) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2016
375ml bottle shared at home. Hazy dark brown with a medium off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium sweet and bitter tones. Caramel, raisin, malts, bread, brown sugar and spices. OK, but not as good as the barrel aged ones.

Svesse (8573) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 16, 2016
(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 14 Sep 2016) Reddish brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dark fruit, a touch of blueberries and hints of smoke. Malty taste with caramel, dark berries, blackberries, roasty malt, brown sugar and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Tasty and warming, quite well balanced for its strength. Nice one.

Bijl (591) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 8, 2016
Donker amberkleurig/koperkleurige Ale, licht wazig, 2 vingers hoge crèmekleurige foamy schuimkraag, veel koolzuur zichtbaar.
