375ml bottle shared at home. Hazy dark brown with a medium off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium sweet and bitter tones. Caramel, raisin, malts, bread, brown sugar and spices. OK, but not as good as the barrel aged ones.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 14 Sep 2016) Reddish brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dark fruit, a touch of blueberries and hints of smoke. Malty taste with caramel, dark berries, blackberries, roasty malt, brown sugar and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Tasty and warming, quite well balanced for its strength. Nice one.

Donker amberkleurig/koperkleurige Ale, licht wazig, 2 vingers hoge crmekleurige foamy schuimkraag, veel koolzuur zichtbaar.

Draft 0.15l at Arendsnest during Carnival Brettanomyces 2016. Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 24.06.2016. Thanks guys for sharing. Pour it dark amber color with small white head. Aroma of chocolate, some cereal. Taste starts with caramel, sweet butterscotch, chocolate in the middle but witth flat body, not so good balanced I think, sweet finish maybe even too much, soft carbonation.

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, bread, dried fruit and yeast.

Appearance:
Hazy/turbid amber/brown beer with a slight beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, dried fruit and yeast; ends slightly dry with bread.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, but lacks both complexity and aroma.
