750 ml bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy at the RB Best Awards - thanks again! 2010 vintage, bottle 24. Pours a super hazy reddish amber color with a small white ring for a head. Tons of fruit still, with berries, lemon, peach, apricot, lactic funk, and oak. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart, muddled, fruity mouthfeel. I rated it one point higher than the 2009 regular Le Serpent, and despite the similarities, this one showed a little better on the palate. The extra year of youth helps and the cherries added complexity. I’d like to try these and the Framboise fresher. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 12, 2016

Bottle shared by Toby deep ruby color moderate tart fruity harder to pick out the cherry. Very acidic and tart . Woody and musty very good The Flanders brown as a base gives it real depth and character JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 10, 2015
Slightly hazy amber red... long lasting white head... Great cherry flavor/aroma with mild acetic notes... woody oak.. lightly tannic and hints of currants... body is a touch thicker than some lower abv Flanders, but still within style.. good carbonation. Pretty stunning example of a style that seemingly isn’t being made much anymore. Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Bottle at RBSG. Thanks!
A: Cloudy brown, white ring of head.
N: Cherry, grapefruit, lemon rind, and noticeable sugariness even in the nose.
T: Tart, and a goodly bit sweet.
M: Light body, a touch oily.
O: Decent sour when considering the cherry. But I am not fan of the body or the sweetness here. Sledutah (7530) - Utah, USA - JUN 22, 2015
Bottle thanks to Buckeyeboy at the RBSG, grand tasting mcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2015
Clear amber with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is tart, caramel and woody. Taste is tart, caramel and woody
750mL bottle, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart cherries, with oak and wood underneath. Flavour reveals notes of sour cherries, wood and oak. The cherries add another dimension to this, amplifying the complexity. Excellent stuff.
