This one is ok, but nothing to get to excited about. Aroma is citrus grapefruit, flavor is assist a bit soapy upfront with mild malt so the finish overwhelms. Had this in tap, can’t recommend

The way American IPA should be! Simcoe + Columbus is awesome. Piney, citrus and tropical fruit, resin. Just a hint of malt for balance and drink ability, but hops rule. Just a hint of onion in the nose, otherwise awesome.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2013 Pours a golden orange with a slight chill haze. Bubbles rising up to greet the underbelly of a creamy head of white foam that fell off lazy and left rings of lace. The nose is bright orange, light tangerine, smooth pine. No malt scents until it warms and then it’s just a bit of honey. Has a little spice and herbal on the nose. Taste is completely unbalanced and delicious. Has a soft malt that carries this drink smooth and with prominent citrus. Touch of bread. Plenty of tangerine and grapefruit. Slick mouthfeel. Spice and pine finish this one semi dry with a bitter that is not too sharp.

Thanks Bill for the chance to try one of your favorites.

Pours a clear, straw/gold with a solid white head. Aroma’s of HOPS resinous and piney with some notes of citrus and light breadiness. Off-dry flavors throughout with a bitter finish. Sharp mouthfeel with a bitter, almost astringent finish. Hopsheads will love this one.

12 ounce can thanks to bukeyeboy. Pours a semi-hazy copper with a big white head of foam. Very good retention. The aroma is effervescent fresh cut grass and grapefruit rind. Lighter crackery malt presence. Taste is more fruity, grassy bitterness that hits quick and then finishes mild. The finish on this is very quick. Really not much aftertaste is discernible either.

Can. Pours slightly hazy yellow with stable off-white head. Intense hoppy aroma with grassy and citric touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of grass. Bitter and slightly acetic finish. Decent.

On tap @ Sanford’s - Cheyenne. Slightly hazed golden pour with a white head. Big pineapple juice aroma, grapefruit, and pine. Some caramel sweetness and a touch of pine. Huge grapefruit flavor, pineapple, and pine. Grass, herbs, and caramel. Nice bitterness and subtle herbs on the finish.

The beer pours great with a nice hazy golden straw color to it, a great think white head and great lacing on the glass. The smell comes off very hoppy with a great piney, grapefruit smell to it and almost a hint of white grape. The taste is great with a nice balanced hoppy flavor, it comes off hoppy but mellows out quickly without burning out your taste buds. The mouthfeel is decent with a bitter leftover flavor but definitely doesnt burn you out and the beer was well carbonated. Overall, this is a great beer and an impressive from a brewer I have never experienced before...Highly Recommended.

Aroma is full of hop goodness and the expression there carries over in the flavor. Bitterness is tuned up a bit and dominates slightly. The body is significant and on the heavy side for an IPA. This heft is appealing but the beer remains refreshing.

12oz can thanks to buckeyeboy. Pours a clear yellow. Pine and citrus aroma. Taste is the same.
