Poured from a can while sitting at the Cowboy Bar in Jackson. Tried to get on draft at the Brewpub, but they were out, go figure. Their flagship beer and they did not have it the two times we were in there. Light golden, with medium off white head, with a mild piney nose and just a hint of citrus. On the bitter side, not as well balanced as I expected, given all I had heard about Pako’s. Drinkable with a nice aftertaste however. Rosebud butternuts (2408) - Denton, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2012

12 oz can from I don’t even know when. The pour is a darker golden color, good orange to it, with a thick frothy white head that sticks around for quite a while and leaves some damn solid lacing. The aroma is good. There is a lot of juicy hop to it. No real bitterness, and the malt really comes through about half way and carries it out to the finish. The hops are pretty decent though. The flavor is a little worse. There is a strong metallic aspect to this one. The malts dominate the flavor. There is a little hop resin, and a hint of bitterness on the back end, but it’s just really relaxed and slightly disappointing. The mouth feel is a little thicker and has a creaminess to it. The carbonation is a little softer, and this has a distinct aluminum can finish. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be a lot better. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 26, 2010
draft. clear honey colored body. resinous pine sap and orange oil flavor with an aroma that’s pretty much the same. mostly pale malt but it seems to have a resinous/chewy/caramel character, and with the high alcohol it seems to be just too bulky and full for the style.

Tap: Clear yellow-gold color. White fizzy head with spotty lacing. Aroma of lots of hops, citrus, grapefruit rind, and inside of a box. Bitter grapey taste. Pretty thin and watery for an IPA. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 16, 2011
(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, florals, light pine, and caramel. Flavor of citrus, grain, nuts, and caramel malt with a moderately bitter finish Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 27, 2013
Can at home courtesy of adnielsen. I hate you Aaron. Appearance is clear copper with a small white head and great lacing. Old bread, grapefruit, rotted fruit peel, oranges, and caramelly aroma. Taste is caramel, stale malt, somewhat tangy, grapefruit peel, oranges, cereal, metallic, and light citrus with a medium bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. This one is way past its prime.
