Draft, Snow Eagle Brewery in Idaho Falls. Clear golden-amber with a lasting foam. Luscious aromas of caramel, citrus, florals, resin and honeycomb. Flavors are an excellent blend of the same. Light-medium body is well-balanced, with a crisp dry finish and very sessionable. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 5, 2013
The beer pours great with a nice hazy golden straw color to it, a great think white head and great lacing on the glass. The smell comes off very hoppy with a great piney, grapefruit smell to it and almost a hint of white grape. The taste is great with a nice balanced hoppy flavor, it comes off hoppy but mellows out quickly without burning out your taste buds. The mouthfeel is decent with a bitter leftover flavor but definitely doesnt burn you out and the beer was well carbonated. Overall, this is a great beer and an impressive from a brewer I have never experienced before...Highly Recommended. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - APR 21, 2014

Pours a golden ale with a fine, broken sheet of whites. Smells good and dank, some grapefruit, some BO, some resin; a little sweet malt in the background. Flavor is nice and balanced with a vitamin character. Sweet tangerines, some lemon rind, some papayas and a good crackery malt. Medium bodied with light on moderate carb. Good stuff. Poured up on tap at the brewpub where there’s a clear copper body that supports a nice looking off white head. The aroma offers up a mix of grapefruit, a dash of pine hops and faint sweet maltiness. The taste begins with firm up front pine hop bitterness that’s blended with bitter tangelo and grapefruit like citrus hops. It builds into mild malt and malt sweetness to midway that helps enhance a modest citrus hop flavor note. This is a nice bitter hop forward brew where there’s still some balance to go along with the firm, late ’90’s feel to the hop profile. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - JAN 12, 2015
Poured from can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber color with a huge billowy head of just off white foam. The head holds on with quite some persistence, slowly fading to leave a nice level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of strong of a citrus grapefruit smell along with it having a little bit of an orange and tangerine smell as well. These aromas are by far the most potent, but are joined by some lighter smells of a floral and grassy nature as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a drier citrus and lightly bready flavor mixed with a little bit of a fruit taste of tangerine, orange, and pineapple. As the taste advances, the sweetness fades a bit, all while the bitterness gets even greater with more grapefruit and some floral and light earthy flavors coming to the tongue. Right at the end, a little bit of a grassy flavor comes to the tongue as well, leaving a rather bitter, but still smooth flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the style the mouthfeel is very nice, as it balances well the fruit and bitter hop flavors.
Overall – A rather tasty and crisper IPA with a good level of fruity citrus hop flavor as well as just enough other bitter hops to keep a big IPA flavor all throughout the taste.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2017 this is a very good IPA.... Great 2 finger clingy head... nice lacing... nice clear golden color.
Tropical fruitbowl in the nose... pithy citrus zest and a dollop of pine.
Flavor mirrors the nose and despite the great hop flavors, it never verges into bracing bitterness... just enough pale malt to help the hops coat the palate.... yummy and very drinkable.
Body is a lite/medium with the expected carbonation. boisebeerguy (209) - boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Probably one of the best IPA’s I can find year round. Everything in this beer is well balanced. I do not know why this beer is not more sought after, but I am glad I can get it. BuckeyeBoy (7522) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 23, 2017
