The way American IPA should be! Simcoe + Columbus is awesome. Piney, citrus and tropical fruit, resin. Just a hint of malt for balance and drink ability, but hops rule. Just a hint of onion in the nose, otherwise awesome. MikeJslc (778) - USA - JAN 29, 2014
12 oz can. Thanks Ed. Gold, slight haze, white head. Aroma is huge, fruity, juicy-citrus hops with a little pine. Flavor is fairly dry, bready/biscuit malt, piney hops, slight grassy note, lingering bitterness. Very easy drinking. Nice. sebletitje (10048) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 19, 2014
Can via trade courtesy of BuckeyeBoy, tks Jeremy.
Aroma: fresh floral hops, good dose of pine/resin, some light malts and faint sweet notes, pleasant grapefruit/citrus.
Appearance: light golden color, good clarity, average white head that fades to a lasting ring, leaves some spotty lacing.
Taste: refreshing burst of hops - lots of resin with some citrus, then a nice light malty follow up. Malt generally stays out of the way of the hops - just enough to balance, nice light cracker character with a bit of sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden, medium bitterness that is nice and clean with no lingering bitterness/astringency after the taste.
Palate: medium body and carbonation, semi-dry finish.
Overall: really nice IPA - great hop punch with subdued malt character, right up my alley. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 4, 2015

Clear golden colour with a small white head.
Fruity and piney hops, fresh hop cones, mild bitterness, some sweetness and mild maltiness in the aroma. Wow! Very nice aroma.
The flavour is piney and citrusy hops, mild bitterness, sweetness and some maltiness. Extremely drinkable and rich. Truly amazing IPA.
Copper boudy, white head. Aroma has lots of pungent pines. Just right amount of cookie dough and caramel. Flavour is quite right for nice bit caramelly IPA. Something in this one is really just great. Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - DEC 22, 2015
From a can. The pour is a dark gold with a white head. A carmel bitter lime taste. hayduke (5188) - Eureka, California, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Pours an slightly cloudy gold, with a fluffy white head and good lacing. The nose is citrus, pine, and caramel malts. Medium in body, and very refreshing mouthfeel. The flavor is very well balanced between the tasty malts and flavorful and nicely bitter hops. The finish shows both fruit and a prefect degree of bitterness. Exceptionally refreshing and easy drinking. An exceptional IPA. NachlamSie (3467) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2012
Can mail-ordered from the brewery. Underrated IPA. The aroma on this is solidly potent. I got some serious Simcoe goodness from this one right off the bat. Strong, dank herbal notes go right for my nose. This isn’t all that malty which allows the hops to do their thing. Clean, bitter citrus is evident like pineapple and grapefruit. Long, dry finish. Excellent IPA in a can. Atom (2418) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2012
12oz can pours a clear bright amber/orange with a large white. Inviting aroma of earthy resinous pine, floral, and caramel. Taste has a nice hop spice well balanced with biscuit malt , pretty nice bite to it. Well rounded and flavorful, very nice!
