Snake River Pale is an American pale ale. Golden in color, it is brewed with domestic malt and plenty of Cascade and Columbus hops. Dry-hopped with even more Cascades. It has a citrusy hop flavor which is followed by a crisp, firmly bitter finish.

Very lightly hopped for an APA. Not too much stronger than a crisp German pils. Pours out medium golden. With a small lasting tight white head. Ready aroma and taste, some mild dry hoppiness at the finish.

Tap @ Sanford’s. Sampled at the rker of a long day of travel. My first WY tick. Not great but enjoying myself any way.

Ha! It showed up in town, along with the Pako’s Eye-P-A, today at 2nd Street Liquors, best by 9/18/11 that’s a sticker on the 6 pack carrier and not anywhere on the can. It pours a light gold with a 1 finger head of foam and some lacing. A lightish nose, as usual, for the beer. Some light hop bitterness, not much else. The taste has some good hop character; bit of grass, some pine, the malt is on the sweetish side with some noticeable notes of grain. The freshest sample of the beer I’ve had in a long time other than the draught I’ve had at the local Old Chicago. I’d consider it a good "gateway" beer for the craft beer noobie. The taste is just too smooth to spark any oohs and ahhs from experienced drinkers. Not that that is a bad thing. 05-27-2011

12oz can, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during my stay for GTMW. Best by 8/16/14. Labeled 5.2%. Golden orange color, mostly clear. Fine particles suspended in the body. Thin finger of white head, good retention. Leaves good, thicker rows of lace. Looks pretty good. Medium body. Good full mouthfeel. Smooth, lightly soft kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Good peppery hop, mildly piney, some grassy herbal. Bready malt, nice lack of caramel taste.. Light spiciness. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Just a light roughness to the taste that holds back drinkability, but taste is nice overall. A solid, enjoyable pale ale to sip take swigs at. Pretty solid now... Would be cool to try this fresh

Can pour light gold. Nose floral and dank hop. Slight mineral. Taste light bitter up front. Again some mineral mid palace. End fruity hop transition to bitter.

A nice solid pale ale. Nothing special in any aspect but has a decent malty aroma and bitter flavor. A little too light in aroma, flavor and body but overall a pretty good beer.

Bought mistakenly chasing SD tick. Pours hazy orange. Light nose of citrus and malt. Tastes of orange peel, floral, resin, hard candy, and caramel. Watery palate with drying finish. Not worth the subway ride it took to get.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was mostly clear golden yellow colored body with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies within twenty seconds, some light clingy spotty foamy lacing graces the sides of the pint glass. The smell has a light amount of citrus/orange coming forth in the hops, and another light amount of pine coming through, ever so slight amount of malts. The taste is mainly bittersweet and smooth, no aftertaste, dry finish. On the palate, its light, sessionable, and has a slightly sharp carbonation but still good for the style and leads to a good smooth feel coming all around. Overall, I would say this is pretty good for the style and very good to me, I would definitely have this again.

Drunk from can. Smell of citrus, hops, flowers. Aroma of hops, orange peel, a faint of fruit. Mildly bitter, mildly sweet. Carbon is soft but plentiful. Doesn’t challenge inany way but is nicely balanced.

Draft at the brewery. Pours very clear amber with a fizzy white head. Tastes like light malt, corn, not much going on. Light body and low carbonation. Not much aroma, maybe malt and grains.
