3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured well with golden hue and white head which stuck around until mid glass. Rather thin body that lacked a big hop presence. Solid malt character, however. Bottom of the bottle was thin and watery. A decent pale ale that just needs more hops.
Tap. Pours clear golden, small creamy white head, great lacing. Aroma is super light, oranges, pine, caramel. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Meh. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 1, 2017

473ml can. Golden pour. Aroma is very soft, some haylike malt, herbs, grass. Flavor is sweet, not much else going on, hint metallic, not great.
Post tasting thoughts:
My guess is this was old, typically this brewer is better than this with the pales.
Can. Golden color. Aroma of biscuity malt, citrus, herbal pine and caramel. Taste has herbal grassy pine, biscuity malt, bitter citrus and crisp. Typical cascade beer, nice. gripweed57 (2967) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 21, 2017
From old tasting notes. Bright copper color topped by a rocky beige head. Soft nutty malt aroma. Wonderfully smooth toaste malt flavor with a buttery character. Long dry hoppy finish. hauxe (1015) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2017
Pours gold into the cup. The head is porous, white and fluffy. Aroma is melon, spruce. Taste is lightly bitter with dry finish. Body is light. Rating by memory: drank in back country under steady onslaught of mosquitoes.

Sample 5/8 at Snake River Brewing Co., Jackson. Clear dark golden with a thin, off-white head. The aroma contains hops, malt, citrus and herbs. It tastes light sweet and medium bitter with a dry, crisp finish. LIght body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A beer that’s out of focus. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 12, 2017
On tap at the brewpub in Jackson WY.
Amber body with high clarity and a thin but durable white head.
Inviting aroma with light hops and bready toasted grains..
Moderate strength flavor for style.
Medium+ body. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 10, 2017
12 ounce can from Brennan’s Brookfield. Hazy golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Weak aroma. Some earthy hops. Taste is pale malt, mild grain, caramel, leafy hops. Thin, mild lingering bitterness. This was packaged last November (bought last Thursday). Seems to have faded a bit. SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - JAN 3, 2017
Pours clear copper with a small white head. Smells crisp and hoppy. Taste is juicy, piney, bitter, and crisp. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Snake River Pale Ale finishes with a pleasant juiciness. kevinator (2860) - The Colony, Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Drinkable pale ale. Piney hops aroma and taste with a hint of citrus. Bitter and dry finish. Decent color and palate.
