Appearance: pours a 1" sudsy white head which recedes slowly with significant lacing. Color is a mostly clear golden-orange with plenty of carbonation present.
Aroma: pleasant combination of floral and pine hop aromas with a sweet caramel bready malt.
Mouthfeel: fairly light bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Finish is dry.
Flavor: delicious combination of well balanced hops and malt. There is some floral, pine, and citrus from the hops. This is met with a sweet maltiness as well as some cracker flavor.
It is easy to see why this ale is a multi-year medal winner at the GABF.

12 ounce can from Brennan’s Brookfield. Hazy golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Weak aroma. Some earthy hops. Taste is pale malt, mild grain, caramel, leafy hops. Thin, mild lingering bitterness. This was packaged last November (bought last Thursday). Seems to have faded a bit. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JAN 3, 2017
