COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jenny Lake Lager is an amber colored Vienna style lager. An authentic German lager yeast strain insures a mild profile. Imported German malts impart a rich, caramel flavor which is balanced with the subtle use of continental hop varieties. The malt forward, slightly sweet profile of Snake River Lager makes it a fine complement to pizzas and red meat.

2008 Bottle - Aroma of malty bread and slight dried fruit, taste is light sweet and bitter, really nothing other than that, more full bodied that other lagers, but nothing to write home about...finishes with a funk...

Yes sir, I liked it. I liked it a whole bunch. Color of amber but with a nice hazy brown tint along with a nice, off-white head that was pretty thick and frothy. Smell is lightly hinted but so good and fresh. Had a nice caramel malt and hop presence, it was soft on the nose and very pleasing. Sip, slurp, ahhhh. So good, great medium body feel and tight with flavor. Smooth toasty malt with just the right touch of hop bitterness, but the malt is left to really stand out. Everything comes together so nicely. The finish is a touch sweet, very nicely done. Toasty fresh, robust, and flavorful, packed nicely with a 6% punch. This is one awesome Vienna style beer, one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Highly recommend picking some up if ever in Jackson Hole,Wyoming.

Pours clear amber with a large beige head. Smells malty, hints of caramel and toffee. Taste is surprisingly bitter with some malt sweetness underneath. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Snake River Jenny Lake Lager finishes with a bitter bite.

Deep copper in color. Light, but attractive hop aroma. Medium to full bodied--attractive on the tongue. Flavor is caramelly sweet, but nicely balanced. Well done.

Aroma - caramel malt. Appearance - the body is a clean mahogany, with a little nucleation. The head is around 1 1/2" and beige in color, and the head settles quickly. Nice lacing. Taste - caramel malt and very subtle hops. Palate - medium body, smooth texture, carbonation is average, and mellow finish.

Pours a clear amber with golden highlights; head is almost white and average-sized with minimal lasting lace. Nose is a little bland, caramel breadiness and yeast with a wierd fruit smell. Flavor is much the same, like a caramelly, lightly toasty bread still with a funky peachy flavor. Hops are definately German and leave moderately light bitterness to balance. Finishes lightly dry with a toasty appley flavor. Palate is fitting, medium to light, lively, and a little watery, but crisp. Decent vienna, but a little boring and definately drinkable.

Bottle: Amber color with a thin white head. Malts, light fruit, juniper aroma. Well balanced. Initially sweet with some light berry and a apricot notes a little toast as well. Finishes crisp.
