Jenny Lake Lager is an amber colored Vienna style lager. An authentic German lager yeast strain insures a mild profile. Imported German malts impart a rich, caramel flavor which is balanced with the subtle use of continental hop varieties. The malt forward, slightly sweet profile of Snake River Lager makes it a fine complement to pizzas and red meat.

Pours clear amber with a large beige head. Smells malty, hints of caramel and toffee. Taste is surprisingly bitter with some malt sweetness underneath. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Snake River Jenny Lake Lager finishes with a bitter bite.

12 oz can. Canned on 05/02/16. (Dell Range Liquors) Cheyenne, WY.
Clear amber golden color with a mid-size foamy white head. The aroma is... SO German! Like a Dortmunder. Sweetness, bread, mild hops and a lot of malt. The flavor is bready malt, mild metal, mild sweetness and some hops. A truly German brew. Well done. Not just what Im looking for.

On tap at the Lake Hotel Restaurant in Yellowstone. Pour a cloudy, light brown color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is mild caramel, with some smooth earthy notes and cinnamon. Sweet and malty, with a bit of bitterness, lending it a smooth, balanced and easy flavor. Light to medium body, crisp, grainy, and clean. This is a solid Vienna lager, and well made. Nothing crazy, just goes down easily and pleasantly.

Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance The beer pours a clear copper-amber color with a two finger head of white foam. The head fades moderately fast leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell The aroma of the brew is strongest of a bready smell mixed with a strong showing of caramel. Along with these smells comes some smells of hay and grass and a hint of harvest fruit. Taste The taste begins with a nice caramel and lightly toasted bready flavor mixed with a little bit of harvest fruit. While strong upfront, the caramel gets even more potent as the taste moves forward, bringing on more and more sweetness. A bit of an herbal and molasses taste come at the very end, leaving one with a sweet, but smooth bready taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel-The body of the beer is slightly thicker then I was anticipating for a brew of only 4.8 % abv. (although not too thick) with a carbonation level that was rather average. For the mix of bready and sweet, with the light roasted tastes, the feel is fantastic and makes for a flavorful brew. Overall I rather enjoyed this beer. It was flavorful and easy drinking all with a very modest abv. of 4.8 % .

Aroma - caramel malt. Appearance - the body is a clean mahogany, with a little nucleation. The head is around 1 1/2" and beige in color, and the head settles quickly. Nice lacing. Taste - caramel malt and very subtle hops. Palate - medium body, smooth texture, carbonation is average, and mellow finish.
