COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jenny Lake Lager is an amber colored Vienna style lager. An authentic German lager yeast strain insures a mild profile. Imported German malts impart a rich, caramel flavor which is balanced with the subtle use of continental hop varieties. The malt forward, slightly sweet profile of Snake River Lager makes it a fine complement to pizzas and red meat.

Can - Pours amber with a thin light tan head. Nose is notes of metal, dry bready malt, and a hint of nuttiness. Slightly watery. Taste is smooth and bready, light caramel sweetness, light herbal hops, and a lightly nutty finish. Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation.

Respectable Vienna-style lager. Some malt sweetness but in a restrained way, making this very repeatable. Moderate hop bite which I liked. A surprisingly nice lager.

Thin frothy white head of medium sized bubbles. Reduces quickly. Light carbonation. Light roasty aroma with some bready malts and some kind of root vegetable. Sweet potatoe? Bright golden orange in color. Big roasted corn flavor. Little dry palate. Like drinking liquid corn bread. Pasty flavor with some grainyness. Finish is dry and pasty. Decent flavor for a vienna but is a little corny!

Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 19, 2007
Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Jackson, Wyoming. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a thick creamy off-white head with a good lacing. Aroma is very thin and almost absent. Could just pick up a hint of light bread, vegerable and herbal/flowery hops. Taste is light, fruity, little carbonation, with a good balance of hop bitterness and malt sweetness. Finish is light, smooth, crisp, clean cut with no bitter aftertaste.

Small white head, fair retention with a little spotty lace left behind. Clear darker than expected gold color. Nose is somewhat cidery at first with notes of grass and vegetal matter. Body is lightly medium with a nice carbonation level. Grainy malt flavors, caramel, grassy notes for hops with a hint of oxydation. Finish is fairly dry, lightly fruity and a bit too long ,props to eaglefan538 for the bottle! Thanks Brian!!

Bottled: pours a golden color with a malty copper taste to it. First beer I had after I got off the Tetons, and it was exactly what I needed with a fresh pizza for lunch.
