Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Mostly clear pale yellow color with an active fizz head. Corny grain aroma. I like a good Mexican lager for a completely different reason than why I like other beers. It’s good based on one characteristic. Refreshment. They never taste like anything to me, which might be the point. If it can cut the extreme spice that I enjoy in Mexican food, than the rating is good. Unfortunately we never see craft Mexican lagers in the restaurants. I can’t properly rate this on my criteria. I feel like about 4 of these would do the trick, and go down easily. I guess its good. Tough style to rate.

Hazy blond color. Delicate malt aroma and flavor; it has some subtle sweetness, and fruity hints; correct bitterness but not much hop character.
Compared to typical German Helles, it doesn’t have the malt crispness, not as much dry, and no grassy hops; but it’s a pleasant beer.
On tap at St Augustine’s, pours an opaque cloud my amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, with bready malt. Aroma: light floral hop.
Appearance: average-sized, creamy, white, initial head with excellent lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Hazy, light-yellow body.
Taste: lightly sour/citrusy initial flavor and finish with short duration.
Palate: light body with watery texture and soft carbonation.

Draft at NCBC. Pours a hazy bronzed medium amber with a loose white head. Pleasant nutty rye nose; got the peppery side and then the husky grain side as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, nuts, and dark peppery rye notes in the background on the mid-palate. Mild toasty finish. Pleasant and drinkable rye ale for a rye whore like me.

Amber in color, hazy with a thin head. Big wheat aroma with fruity and floral hops nose. Big hoppy flavors and huge wheat malt. Floral and fruity flavors the grapefruit and hops fruit this was interesting and tasty.
Hazy copper color with light head. Mild clean hoppiness and graininess. Grainy flavor with some tannic run-off. MIldly appealing graininess. A little more flavor than the standard premium lager.
