Bought a 12 Fl. Oz. bottle of this from The Beer Shoppe in Yakima, WA for $1.90. Poured from the Blue/Green Labeled bottle w/ a cattle skeleton head on the front into a 16oz Arcadia IPA Pint Glass. Has no freshness date to be found on the bottle.
Aroma- Nice hops, citrus fruits, and light piney characters. Not dry hopped but sweeter on the nose.
Appearance- Pours a 1.5 finger head that has good head retention. Has a reddish copper colored body with semi-haziness. Leaves good lacing behind.
Flavor- Both citrus and light pine come through once again but very easy. Medium bitterness at the finish and sweet. No character overpowers any other one.
Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Smooth, and has a sweet, hop flavor on the finish.
Overall Impression- A very fresh and light hopped up IPA! Enjoyed how easy going it was for the time of day I was enjoying this. Would like to have more from this brewing company! DialSquare (5028) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2010
From an old tasting note on our pacific northwest trip in fall ’08. No idea where we got it. Malty, caramel, NW grapefruit hops, creamy, toasty, thin. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2010
Cask, Caskfest. Hoppy aroma, with citrus, floral, and cedar notes. Pretty sweet caramel malt body on this with grapefruit, lemon, and a piney resinous bitter bite on the finish. Pretty straigthforward Northwest IPA. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 2, 2009

Aroma: dry crystal malt aroma, lots of floral hops, touch of citrus, light earthyness
Flavor: very earthy citrus hop flavor, plenty of bitterness to keep it pretty dry, touch of orange citrus, nice lingering bitter finish

Had at the brewery. Pours dark yellow orange color with white bubbly head that lasts. Little lemon citrus hop aroma but mild. Flavor is weatery for an ipa with mild hop bitterness. Weak ipa imo. I seriously think this brewery is weakening its beers to cut costs based on other reviews I’ve read vs what I tasted. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Sampled at Taphouse Grill Seattle. Pours a light copper with a white head. Only a moderate floral hop nose. Flavor is mostly a pale malt base with a touch of caramel then grapefruity, citrusy hops, ample bitterness. Medium bodied, perhaps a touch thin with moderate carbonation. Ok, but not bursting with hop flavor - could use more "oomph". bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 1, 2008
Bottle. Somewhat hazy dark amber with a cream-colored head. Nice cascade aroma. Nice citrus, slight earth, floral, pine flavor with backing malt. Medium body. Decent bitterness. Lingering lemon/grapefruit with slight pine and slight floral notes. Goodgrief (2028) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - MAR 10, 2008
Aug. 2007 - Thanks to slob from Stateline for sharing a sample. Orange amber color with small head on my sample size. Aroma was caramel and bready malts. The flavor was caramel malts, floral hops and some bread. Dry mouthfeel. Well balanced beer. Above average all the way around. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2008
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2010 Stunning golden brown contains sediment perfectly suspended in the tall glass at every level. fluffy head condensed to a creamy ring around the rim. grapefruit hop aroma with other citrus notes. earthy hops up front, dissipates quickly to a dirty sharp earthy finish with a quickly juicy grapefruit middle.
