Draught @ Brouwer’s Café: Fiery golden, very carbonated, moderate foamy white head, decent head retention and lacing.
Certainly hopped up nose, but also a bit of a grainy malt touch. Bitter notes on the tongue, some husky malt aspects. Not as
floral as I would have preferred. Decent, a little biting. Would also like it to be a bit maltier. Moderate body and
mouthfeel. Bitter finish, soft lingering husky malt tones. Decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. FoolishMortal (990) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 9, 2007
22oz bottle. Deep yellow color with a medium sized white head. Sharp catty hop aroma. Acrid floral hop flavors up front. Ruddy, earthen, herbal hop characters develop, rather resinous. Shallow malt presence briefly peers through. Medicinal bitter astringency dominates the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light, rather dry. jcwattsrugger (12469) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 8, 2007
on tap-pours a disappearing off white head and gold color. Aroma is mild citrus/grapefruit hops. Taste is citrus/grapefruit hops-some bitter. Nice. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - SEP 9, 2007
9/8/07 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is grassy PNW hop forward with lots of citrus and a light sweet malt note to balance. Appearance is a hazy golden copper with a solid off-white head. Flavor is strangely complex and encompasses all of the tongue. It is very complex hop forward with a dominant citrus character. There is a good sweet malt character balance to keep it easy drinking. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carb feel and a clean, but not dry, finish. Overall, one of the best IPAs I’ve had this year.

Small, offwhite head with a fair retention, decent lace. Lightly hazy copper/amber colored brew. Restrained nose of pine, light citrus and caramel malts. Flowery? Med/light bodied, somewhat lifeless, low carbonation. Layed back malt flavors, light fruitiness and citrus notes. Finish is fairly dry, lightly fruity and fast. Bomber received in trade from SDbruboy, thanks Cliff! User37895 (3042) - - AUG 25, 2007
Beer shared by Slob. Poured an orange amber type color, decent initial head, ok lacing too. The aroma was caramel malts and some floral aspects. Flavor was caramel, amber type malts, floral hopping along with some herbal qualities. A simple, somewhat weak (dare I say watery?), at least boring, example of the style, drinkable, in need of more flavor and character. Thanks, Bert, always fun no matter the beer. A gift from my friend Jason, who’s cousin received it on a flight! In a bomber, Nice! Mellow drinker for an IPA, but this sample was fresh, and lots of nice hop flavor, with that said, its an easy drinker, without a "Hopbomb" flavor to it, very balanced, and enjoyable, Thanks Jay! thedm (6222) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 5, 2007
This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy no visible carbonation orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and floral. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of crisp hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Amber in color the light hops where funny for the aroma. The beer had a very light malt build that did not help the hops. This was a weak IPA flavor.
