Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouvermcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2015
Light amber color, hazy, with compact head. Solid and smooth IPA, the malt profile is a bit cereally, the hop is a bit resiny. Either a bit old school, or not completely fresh.
But it’s a good beer.
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose of muffled herbal hops and some fungal notes, almost like a British bitter or pale. Flavour sort of confirms this, bringing out fungal notes and herbal hops. There’s a pretty substantial astringency on the finish as well. Not my thing at all. Amber colour. Woody, slightly grapefruity aroma. Flavour is mainly grapefruit, wood and black currant, with a light underpinning of pale malt sweetness. Ferris (15267) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 26, 2015
Draft - Light grapefruit and some peel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter, sweet and lots of Mandarin with a syrupy note. Not bad. bhensonb (15190) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 27, 2007
Floral hop aroma backed by caramel malt. Something of an apricot color with a white head that filmed while lacing strangely. Medium bodied, almost creamy. Mild carbonation. Floral hop, maybe a bit of citrus, with mild caramel sweetness. As the sweetness goes, the finish is hop, hop, hop. This is great.

(bottle) Beige head, clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, floral. Taste is medium sweet, floral/grapefruit. Watery, light-medium body. Seems more like an APA. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 19, 2006
22oz bottle. Poured a deeper and cloudy amber color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of light caramel, floral, and some citrus. Also a little on the earthy side. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel, and citrus. Decent enough balance for an IPA. Lacing left on the glass. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 8, 2007
on tap-pours a disappearing off white head and gold color. Aroma is mild citrus/grapefruit hops. Taste is citrus/grapefruit hops-some bitter. Nice. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 2, 2009

Date: March 26, 2009
Appearance: muddy burnt orange, fine off white head, bits of drippy lace
Aroma: dry crystal malt aroma, lots of floral hops, touch of citrus, light earthyness
Flavor: very earthy citrus hop flavor, plenty of bitterness to keep it pretty dry, touch of orange citrus, nice lingering bitter finish
Aroma: 6/10; Appearance: 6/10; Flavor: 7/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 12/20
Bottle. Orange with a large head. Lots of yeast and peaches in the nose, with some yeast floaties appearing on the surface of the hop pool. Flavor is a dull nutty orange, not too sweet... a little acidic on the tongue. Mediocre to below average IPA.
