Bottle, shared with Yngwie - thanks! :-) Pours a crystal clear orange body, no head. Nose is honey, red fruits, apples, tutti frutti-like estery tones and hints of alcohol, wood and caramel. Taste is apples, honey, red fruits, tutti frutti, almonds and hints of caramel, wood and floral notes. Slick mouthfeel, no carbonation. Not bad at all, this is the most successfull hop-oriented mead I’ve had, probably due to the fact that it doesn’t have a lot of it. Also, the apple touch helps a lot to build subtle complexity. A bit unusual color. More orange than golden. Ok intensity in the aroma. I just did not fancy it to much. Medium to full body. Oily texture and a bit dry texture. Lots of apple in the flavor. Also fruity and some spices. Some alcohol coming up.KennethArd (570) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2016

Intense aroma of cascade hops. Clear golden with no head. Medium dry & medium bitter. Light body, slick texture & low carbonation. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 23, 2014
Bottle. It’s a clear, golden, oily fluid without any head or carbonation. The aroma has a citrusy touch, with flowers, yellow apples and surprisingly low levels of honey. Rather alcoholic for its 13% ABV, both in the nose and the mouth, but at least the alcohol aroma softens after some time in the glass. It’s fruity and quite citrusy on the palate, full-bodied, semi-sweet and warming, with some yellow apples and rosehips. Lasting honey-sweet and apple-like finish with a pleasant bitterness. I prefer my meads with more focus on the honey, but this is a fine mead anyway. 141123 Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 8, 2014

Orange copper color, bright, cloudy. The aroma combines well the typical mead and hop ones; it’s also a bit orangey (Cascade? PNW hops?) and possibly floral. Very sweet, quite syrupy and thick, with moderate acidity, evident hop character (only light bitterness though), nice soft hop resins, hop oil.
Pleasant drink, vibrant.
Bottle at TSODRBSG 13. Golden colour with no head. Aroma is aaple, honey, alcohol. Flavour is apple, honey, alcohol, spices. Warming nice mead.
