Snowshoe Thompson Pale Ale is a medium-bodied, copper-colored ale with malty nose and distinct hop finish. Fruity, hoppy, and refreshing. Very balanced and flavorful. Fresh, clean, and tasty.

Out of a pint glass outside of Yosemite at "California’s oldest saloon." Hazy gold color with a nice white head that remains full and lacy. Nice hop aroma. Taste of well balanced hops and malts follows through with generous citrusy hops on the finish. Mouth.

A nice ale from the Mother Lode area of California. Definitely a PNW hopped beer, a copper appearance with minimal head gives way to a fruity aroma. A very balanced beer that’s pretty tasty and still hopped a bit. Not bad.

Hazey amber hue, modest head formation. Caramel malty nose, mild citrus hoppiness. Sweet butteerscotch flavor, balanced by a fairly citric bitter finish. Pretty weak attempt at a much immitated style.

A decent pale ale. Pours a nice amber color with not much head. Smells a little fruity and hoppy. Taste starts fruity and finishes hoppy. Not bad. Had in the bottle in Murphy's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice amber color. Poured slowly, but still had the largest head of a beer I’ve ever poured. Fruity, somewhat hoppy brew, but very easy drinking.

On tap at the brew pub in Arnold. This was a near perfect pale ale. Poured a nice orange/amber color with a thin white head. Huge grapefruit and citrus hops on the nose with enough malt hiding in the background to make it interesting. The flavor was more citrus hops, but the malt balance was perfect. Spot on. Not to bitter, not to malty. This was a fantastic beer. Made the side trip to Arnold 100% worth the drive.

~Pours amber with little white head. ~Sweet biscuity malt scent. Kinda woodsy. Citrus hops. ~Malty biscuit tatse followed by nice citrus. ~Light crisp feel, bitter citrus finish. ~Nice pale ale. Enjoyable balance of malts followed by citrus hops.

Poured clear amber brown, malty, piney hops, caramel, little fruity, little bready.

Bottle (Yosemite Falls) Clear, dark amber color with a sizable ivory head that dissapates very slowly. Caramel and malt aroma with a bit of hops. Warm malt flavor with a good bitterness. Very nice beer.

Poured into a shaker glass. Aroma is mostly malty. Flavor is more bitter with more malt body. Palate is full bodied. Really similar to Sierra Nevada draft. Overall pretty good!
