Hazy golden color. Fruity aroma (apricots). Malty taste, with a fruit touch. Not extremely complex but interesting. High bitterness, quite aromatic. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Pours copper with a thin orangy head. The aroma is fresh citrusy and fruity hops. The flavor is a nice balance between sweet fruit with a touch of caramel and bread and a pleasantly hoppy finish. A nice go to APA. Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 19, 2000
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2004 The beer after its pour from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a slightly bemused golden amber color with a generous white head that is frothy in texture, the resultant lace a thin but covering sheet upon the glass. Nose has a nice malt sweetness, fresh and clean with just tad of hop floral, start is has a nice malt profile and is somewhat sweet, the top light to medium in feel. Finish is prickly in its acidity with the hops modestly spicy and the aftertaste dry and long lasting. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 28, 2004
In the bottle at the 2004 Crescent Moon Vintage Beer Tasting. This beer had a nice malty feel to it. I like it a lot. Very good hop and malt balance. Still impressively carbonated even though it was about a 12 year old bottle of beer. fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - JUL 21, 2005
12 oz. bottle labled as Yosemite Falls Pale Ale. I contacted the brewer and found out that this is the same beer as Thompson Pale Ale. Typical grapefruity hops on the nose and the tounge. I was suprised. I expected something more in the middle. Decent APA.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Comes as "Yosemite Falls Pale Ale". Slightly hazy amber with a neat, creamy, off-white head. Fresh, floral nose. Light-bodied with vague accents of caramel and some fresh, floral touches. Dry, hoppy finish. Very pleasant and drinkable. 270106 anders37 (26625) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 29, 2006
Bottle. Orange colour with a thick white head. Fruity hoppy aroma . Fruity flavor with some nice hoppy notes. Dry and a nice hoppy finish. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 18, 2006
bottle under the Yosemite Falls name - Pours amber with a large, dense head. It has a nice, moderately hoppy aroma. The taste is pleasantly hoppy with a dry finish. It’s a little thin and it’s too fizzy, but still a fairly good pale ale. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - APR 18, 2011
Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Nice malty and citrus aroma and taste with a caramel bread finish.
