A nice ale from the Mother Lode area of California. Definitely a PNW hopped beer, a copper appearance with minimal head gives way to a fruity aroma. A very balanced beer that’s pretty tasty and still hopped a bit. Not bad. greenhorn1 (850) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - APR 18, 2014
Bottle. Huge foamy head....bad bottle?? Somewhat metallic in taste and smell. Copper appearance. Not too good, but will try again in case I got a stale one. SinH4 (4794) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUL 1, 2015
On tap at the Iron Door Saloon in Groveland. Dark orange color with white head. Aroma is green-earthy, some citrus. Taste is surprising, herbal-green, some citrus again, but very different. Something does not quite fit together here. Okay though.

Hazey amber hue, modest head formation. Caramel malty nose, mild citrus hoppiness. Sweet butteerscotch flavor, balanced by a fairly citric bitter finish. Pretty weak attempt at a much immitated style. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 4, 2002
