Echon (535) - Århus, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2015
Clear pale golden colour. Great aroma with notes of honey and spices. Sweet taste with light bitterness and spicy notes. Full body with a long finish. The alcohol leaves a burning sensation. This is one of the better meads I have had. The spices and the bitterness balance the sweetness. It might improve with a slightly lower abv.

Sampled at BBF’14. The aroma has honey, some fruity tones. Pale, almost clear, copper coloured beer with no head. The taste has sweet honey mostly. Nice and smooth.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2010 A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Kook Fest tasting.
As Ian so rightly points out, I feel the need... the need for mead. This is amazing stuff. Not a hint of alcohol, just some glorious cheap Coca Cola notes along with some fanbloodytastic spice. So drinkable it’s downright dangerous. Mad as a bag of frogs and I could easily be hovvering the lawn drunk on this. Excellent.

onystrom (1335) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2010
Ceramic bottle. Clear amber colour with no head. Alcoholic aroma. Sweet liquer taste. Not bad but...
