3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a copper color with a two finger white head and good retention. Leaves decent lacing on the glass. Toasty malts, a little bready aroma along with floral and citrus hops. Citric hops again dominate the palate. Moderate malt flavor keeps it in check, very smooth and full in the mouth. Refreshing carbonation keeps it light and crisp. Slightly toasty, good complexity and balance. Great sessionable IPA
This seemed quite sweet f0r a Ca. IPA. It had a deep yell0w b0dy, tiny bubbles, and a m0dest 0ff-white head. The n0se was a blend 0f tangy citrus and cat b0x with an underlying sweetness that intensified as the brew warmed. It had a big juicy malt sweetness in the m0uth with a mild citrus juice and zest bitterness. There was m0re 0f a h0p presence in the finish. 0kay, but passable. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 12, 2013
(22oz bottle) Pours a hazy burnt orange body with a medium creamy rocky off-white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, florals, caramel, and bread. Flavor of orange, caramel, peach, bread, and grass with a bitter finish. SDalkoholic (2444) - Linda Vista, California, USA - JUL 5, 2013
Bottle from Whispering Tree: Aroma is mild with sweet caramel malt plus a buttery pancake and syrup smell balanced between a gentle hop profile. Appeared as a dark golden graham cracker color with a fluffy topping of head. The flavor is well rounded with a soft taste of malts and hops that makes this a smooth and easy quaffable IPA. 22oz bottle 4/25/13 (Binny’s Naperville Clearance Rack)-38° in Shaker-Pours a murky orangish amber with a huge off white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and citrus. Taste of citrus and malt. This medium bodied brew is not bad. Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - APR 7, 2013

Bottle and served in GI IPA Tulip: Pours an initially coppery golden hue with a lovely frothy head and very good lacework. The aroma has plenty of tropical fruit and herbal esters, hint of pepper, biscuity malt and some aspirin earthiness. The taste is fruity and light bittered, very well balanced and makes for an easy going drinker. Dry chalky finish with plenty of sprite carbonation. Nothing that will knock your socks off but a nice Sunday Spring brew. BOLTZ7555 (3028) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Meringue-like foam reminiscent of the mashed potato sculpture of Devil’s Tower in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Couldn’t not give this a five in appearance for that alone. Burnt tangerine body. Aroma and flavor aren’t nearly as interesting. Dusty, leafy, earthy, grassy, malty. Solid offering but wouldn’t seek out again. kaser (6430) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 17, 2013

PLeasant grapefruit pith/herbal/flowery aroma. Flavor is sweet and floral, some citrus. Medium to low bitterness. Pleasant beer but it isn’t anything that special. thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Pour is a hazy orange with a big white head. Aroma is a nice piney hop. Flavor is the same. Nice hoppy resin with little or no malt presence. A straight forward bare bones soild IPA.
