Draft at Toad in the Hole. Foggy amber with low eggshell head. Pine, grass, and even a little mulling spice enter the nose. Flavor profile is rather subdued, dry, and a bit seltzery. Finish has a broad, lasting bitterness. A yeoman drop, but definitely not exciting.

The most obvious notes here are caramel and a grassy, vegetal, somewhat murky hoppiness, and there’s some tingling provided by both astringency and carbonation. The flavor hits fast and then finishes quickly. Not my favorite. On tap at brewpub.
