Sampled at the brewery during the RBSG but tour. In my glass copper orange with an off-white head. Nose is malty and there are floral hops. Light body. Flavor is lightly roasted malts and there is dry, earthy, and bitter finish. As ambers go this one is pretty good

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear copper with a beige head of foam. Citrus and tropical fruit notes. Some doughy character. Medium body and light carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a fairly clear orange amber with a medium sized white head. Soft toast, a bit of sweetness, a bit of malt. Medium bodied, soft toast, a bit of malt, crisp and clean, but a touch empty. Slow malt and toast into the finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and earth. Light body, malty, cocoa, earth, light bitter finish, good.

On tap in Boise. Berry dark for style, worth a fine looking, clear, red-brown body and a decent head. Lightly sweet up front worth a mildly bitter, relatively hoppy finish. Smooth medium+ body with light carbonation.

Dark Amber pour. Heaven in every sip? Not here. An average Amber in every aspect - light toast, caramel and hops. Thin to medium body. Standard fare.

On tap at Sockeye Pub & Grill, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and light hop resins. Flavour is dry, with bready and biscuity malt, and very minor hopping. Restrained and boring, but it’s fine.

Pint with a late lunch.... Surprised I haven’t rated this one yet.... Clear amber with a long lasting off white head... Dry toast.. Well balanced residual maltiness helps temper the good PNW bitterness... Very drinkable and refreshing in this heat.

Round from Sockeye. Amber body with very thin , foamy head. Normal malty aroma and taste, nothing memorable or exciting, decent beer, but not my favorite style.

Very solid amber ale, caramels and cereal notes in the body paired against hints of chocolate and dark malts.
