Sockeye brewing and Barley Brown’s have joined forces for a hoppy collaboration. This new england-style hazy IPA is built on a blend of Idaho and Oregon Hops and malt. This Brew is dry-hopped with 66 lb of mosaic, Citra, and Idaho 7 hops. We are stoked on our newest interpretation of an East Coast IPA.

Can compliments of JohnGalt1. Thanks Toby! Pours a hazy orange yellow with a finger of foam, nice lacing. Orange peel and grapefruit aromas that also smells like pitted fruit pits were thrown in. Lovely nose. Orange peel sure adds the bitterness, grapefruit and pitted fruit pits add to the intensity. So fruity, so juicy, resinous. Medium body with medium carbonation. Man, I am digging this!

12 oz. can that hayduke was kind enough to get for me during RBSG Boise. A fluffy almost white head leaves hieroglyphic looking lacing. The beer is golden with multi textured haze and sediment. The aroma is dank and fruity with stone fruit. That dankness transfers to the flavor and is prominent. Feel is oily and slick. Stone fruit and lychee are tasted along with some tropical flavors. Herbal, too. This is tasty stuff!

Can thanks to beerandblues2. Pours hazy hazy gold with some floaties. Aroma and flavor are citrus and tropical fruit esters, orange peel, pale malt, light toast, and some piney bitterness. Medium body. Unfortunately think I didn't get to try this one at its prime.

From a can. Pours hazy gold with floating particles and a creamy off white head. Tastes like lemon, lime grapefruit hops, resin, and nutty and biscuit malt. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like bready and nutty malt, resin, and grapefruit hops.

Can thanks to Toby - pours gold white head - nose and taste of grapefruit peel, sharp pine, grass, citrus pith and light caramel malt - medium body

Tasting at SF, can
Cloudy blond color. Piney hops aroma with pungent citrus zest, lemon, grapefruit. Strong body, crisp malt base, and an explosion of piney and zesty hops, for a long final.

355ml can @ the office. Pours a hazy golden straw colour with a small white head. Nose is sweet, fruity, citrus and pine. Flavour is similar, citrus, fruity pine, with a moderate bitter but sweet hop finish. Quite tasty.

mcberko (20482) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2017
12 oz. can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, citrus notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with loads with piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Piney hop bomb. Love these blonde IPAs. Excellent.

Cloudy, tan. Not much head. The aroma is big hops - they’re using nice ones here and they showcase well. Moderate bitterness, again the hop character comes through bright and fruity. A touch yeasty, but overall I like this bright hop character. Quite drinkable.

hayduke (5757) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 9, 2017
The can was handed to us as we got off the RBSG bus at the Gooding Hop Fields. Special for us. How neat. Poured this into my tasting glass for a yellow color with a white head. Nose of citrus and pine. Medium body. The flavor is the citrus and pine.and some earthiness. Finishes dank and bitter with light tropical fruit. Good.
