355ml can. Canned 07/2017. Big thanks to Euphemos for this one!
Pours amber in color with a thick white head.
Caramel malty nose, canned fruity with strong piny notes.
Flavor has caramel sweetness, malts, hops, pine, massive bitterness in finish. Not very fresh anymore. My first from Idaho! teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - DEC 21, 2016
36cl bottle shared in CW. Many thanks to Colin for this one. It pours a clean golden color with a small off white head. Aroma is resinous and piney with melon and dough. Draft at Hop n Hound. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a dense and creamy white head. Big c-hop nose, nice caramel maltiness under an intense wash of fresh green leaves and pine; like a sun-baked forest floor that’s showing fresh scent. Creamy medium body, a bit grainy, lively carb. Darkly toasted caramel under a bright leafy wash of c-hop woodsy notes. Long crisp finish with earthy accents. Solid IPA.

On tap at Sockeye. Light copper color with a nice head and small amount of lace left in the glass. Plenty of citrus and flower aroma. Real smooth taste with the hops overpowering the malt. Nice smooth finish at the back of the mouth. The is a real nice beer. AirForceHops (7790) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 29, 2014
12 oz. can courtesy of Lectvay. Forgotten about can from our trade that really holds up well. Hazy amber with plenty of foamy head. Aroma is pine, hints of citrus and dry straw. GenDV138 (7697) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUL 14, 2016
The main base of the beer has a light graininess that leads into a dry bitter pine finish. The bitterness is long lasting with some mild grassy notes as well. Big West Coast like IPA with a Simcoe, Cascade and perhaps Summit variety hops. Very straight forward and classic flavor profile. Solid.
Can at the Local DC Tasting. Slightly hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, honey, floral notes, light citrus. Tastes of citrus, honey, caramel, malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Strykzone (7620) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 1, 2013
12 ponce can from Hayduke. A hazed and coppery pour. A big off whote fluffy head takes its time to fade and sticky lacing remains. A nice and clasdic west coast IPA aroma with caramel, citrus and pine. A big biting bitterness kicks in early. It is somehow multi layered bitterness. A rich feel. The hops are citrus including grapefruit with pine. Yeast is kind of bready. My only knock on this beer is that the bitterness almost over powers the flavors. It is not a shrinking violet beer.
