Draft at the brewpub. Light amber in color, drawing you in. Very well laced head, laddering down the glass. This is a yummy west coast IPA, focused on a nice citrus-blossom character. Good stuff. (#4676, 7/7/2012) Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2013
September 2012. Found this one last time I was in Boise. Amber color with a white head. Nice balance and complexity. Plenty of hops and a dry, bitter finish. Beerdrinker79 (2188) - Idaho, USA - JUL 27, 2013
12 oz can- Pours hazy orange with over a two finger creamy white head that leaves ice cream float like appearance. Aroma is hops man, spicy hops, pine and citrus dominate the aroma. The taste is bitter up front, resinous piney hops follow and the finish is bitter again. Body is fairly light which doesn’t bother me, carbonation is good. Overall good IPA, very sessionable if it weren’t for the 6.3%. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - AUG 10, 2013
12oz can. Rating #58. Orange/copper color with a nice white head. Nice tropical fruit aroma with a hint of pine, very nice. Above average bitterness, more pine and tropical flavors. (2861) stevoj (5046) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 28, 2013
I really enjoyed this (on tap at Papa Joe’s), lots of hop flavor without the overpowering tartness. Hazy amber with a small creamy head, mild pine bitterness, abrupt finish. Enjoyable and highly drinkable.

Can from Brewforia. Pours orange gold with an off-wite head. Aroma seems strong mix of citrus and resin. Med body. Flavor is really strong resin/citrus hop over a somewhat roasty caramel base. It finishes dry and bitter. Pretty hoppy ale! JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 21, 2014
1/2" foamy white head has very nice retention and lacing... the brew is a hazed orange.
I can easily smell this brew 2 feet away... pungent pithy citrus... minor pale malt with even a little bit of toasty presence... but this brew is all about the hops... unapologetic.
Huge bitterness... oily citrus zest... lite pale malts mid palate along with the noted toasty malt element... finishes long and hoppy... really pretty dry throughout.... Honestly, the only "real"
bitch I could even remotely come up with is the bitterness up front may be a touch high... but I would never complain.
I forgot how much I like this one... Any NW IPA lover would certainly put this into their rotation if they had access. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - AUG 8, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a shaded orange to copper color with a glazed over brownish tints closer to the center of the glass. There was a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing here and there.
The smell had a sharp grapefruit to citrus (slightly tropical and enticing) with a light pine weaving it’s way in the aroma.
The taste was pure bittersweet arranging a nice orange flavoring to come out nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good acceptable sharpness normally tasted in an AIPA coming from the Northwest.
Overall, pretty good AIPA that I would definitely have again. DialSquare (5031) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Can courtesy of Brooke (thanks!). Copper pour, frothy off-white. Aroma of fresh hop, grapefruit, pine. Tastes are evergreen, orange, grapefruit, woody. Little dry in the finish. Great balance, very nice. andrewje41 (3891) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - AUG 9, 2015
12 oz can poured. Pours a light cloudy orange color with a lasting foam head. Orange, and hop forward aroma and flavor. Light bitter, huge flavor hop finish. Very tasty IPA for sure. Solid.
