Very good pale. Smooth with no real bite. one of my very favorite brews from Sockeye.

maekchu (4098) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 14, 2017
Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose of caramel, floral hops, ripe stone fruit, pine, and a little citrus. Medium copper color, with a quickly diminishing head. Caramel, light grapefruit, some other citrus notes, a light metallic note, and moderate bitter tracks. Thin-medium body. Okay. A well-hopped pale ale... but not really so interesting.

The was a sample from a draft pour at the brewery during the RBSG bus tour. In my glass basically golden orange with a white head. Nose of citrus and tropical fruit. Medium body. Flavor is like the aroma and finishes with low bitterness but a lot of fruit flavor. Very tasty and easy to drink.

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear copper with a white head of foam. Citrus and mango aroma. Bitter and earthy. Medium body and medium carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Bright orange on the nose, a bit of citrus, a touch of cracker. Medium bodied, soft and toasty, crisp orange tones, malt, a hint of fruity yeast. Malt, toast, crisp and gently sweet, a bit of fruit.

Pours hazy orange with a nice head, aroma of hops, orange and caramel, flavor is bitter with orange, tangerine and malt, medium bodied

tmoreau (4739) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2016
Shared 12 oz. cans poured to snifters showing a nearly clear, rosy & orangey gold color, with a fair layer of bubbly, off white head foam, and spots of lacing. The nose was dank & earthy, with herbal & floral hints, and a touch of esters. Light to medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste added an earthy astringency to the lingering bitterness. An okay offering.

Iphonephan (7474) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - AUG 16, 2016
From a 12 oz can. Pours a hazy amber with a massive off white head. Grassy nose. Flavors of citrus and pine resin. Nice carbonation. Very bitter finish.

mcberko (19809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2016
On tap at Sockeye Pub & Grill, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malts and lightly herbal hops. Flavour had a bit of diacetyl and skunky hops, with dry biscuity malt. Things are a bit wrong here. Meh.
