Can sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Denny. As Sockeye Seasonal Lager Maibock. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, a bit of fruity hints and and alcoholic touch. Sweetish flavor, toasty, malty, with caramel, and a bitterish in the finish. Medium-bodied. douglas88 (9630) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 6, 2013
16 ounce can, just listed as maibock. Pours a dark ruby color with a small white head. A light fruity nose with some caramel. Flavorful: rich ripe fruits, strawberries, some dusty sweet malts, dark caramel and toffee. Earthy dry finish. Good. BuckeyeBoy (8476) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 6, 2008

From a growler purchased at Pauls Grocery in McCall, ID. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Nose of caramel malts and light fruit. Medium plus in body with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is big on the malts but there are some grassy and floral hops there in the finish along with some bitterness.. Pretty darn good. stevoj (5574) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 2, 2014
Aroma and flavor of nuts, roast grains. Thin head fading to nothing on dark brown body. Taste a bit more bitter than 17 IBUs, was expecting this to be a heller bock, so pleasantly surprised to find it dark. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - APR 21, 2005
Dark maple syrup, light off-white head. Nose of rich malt and earthy hops. The flavor has a massive body with a little sweetness and alcohol presence. Nutty finish with a reinforcement of the large body. Thick drinking (chewy), I could only have a couple of these. Maybe more hops? I don’t know. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 6, 2010
Pours a dark hazy brown color. Aromas of bread, malt, and some fruit. Flavor has a touch of sweet malt and clove, I think. Overall, not to bad.
