From a growler purchased at Pauls Grocery in McCall, ID. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Nose of caramel malts and light fruit. Medium plus in body with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is big on the malts but there are some grassy and floral hops there in the finish along with some bitterness.. Pretty darn good. BelgianBeerGal (4068) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Can in Ogden and yes I am aware that I am drinking a Maibock in January but with UT’s crazy liquor laws it is hard to find unique beers. Pours a nice caramel color with a bubbly tan head that settles slowly. Cereal and toast in the aroma. Roasted malt dominates the flavor but not overly sweet and balanced with a light hint of hops. Enjoyable. ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - JUL 29, 2015

Reddish amber color out of the can with a creamy off white head. Big malty nose with some alcohol in it. Caramel sweetness with some peaty notes, dried fruit and dusty malts. A bit of earthy bitterness in the finish and more prominent alcohol as it warms. kerenmk (4768) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 14, 2015

Can sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Denny. As Sockeye Seasonal Lager Maibock. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, a bit of fruity hints and and alcoholic touch. Sweetish flavor, toasty, malty, with caramel, and a bitterish in the finish. Medium-bodied. jcartamdg (3445) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2014
Pours a deep cherry brown with a thick mocha head. Aroma big on malt, lager yeast, biscuit. Taste is sweet and malty, nice lager yeast presence with a slight hop bite. Nice maibock. stevoj (5065) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 2, 2014
Aroma and flavor of nuts, roast grains. Thin head fading to nothing on dark brown body. Taste a bit more bitter than 17 IBUs, was expecting this to be a heller bock, so pleasantly surprised to find it dark.
