COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Peak Pilsner- a brew from Paul Sockeye’s German-style Pilsner is a bright golden color and crystal clear. Saaz hops are very prevalent with a spicy bitterness, flavor and aroma. It is refreshingly smooth and crisp with a malty presence typical of this style of lager. This brewer’s whim addition to our line-up of beer styles is limited this season, so enjoy and toast the Bohemians!

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Light citrus and bread aroma. Flavors of butterscotch. Crisp finish.

12 oz can. Canned a little over three months ago. Aroma is wet hayfield, cotton candy. Pours pale light gold with a medium white head that falls after a minute. Taste is grainy with a nice bitterness. Good beer, but I wish it was fresher.

scooterbub (1064) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - MAY 8, 2016
12 ounce can. Pours a clear golden yellow with a three inch white head that slowly collapses. Taste is of malt, grains, grass, light citrus, pine and some hops. Similar aroma. Has a medium body with a pine and hop finish. Had reservations about getting a pilsner from a brewery I didn’t know, but this is a fine example of what a pilsner can be.

Can to glass, pours a bright gold color with a small white head. Floral, grassy, and cereal grains in the nose, followed by the same in the taste. Crisp, light, good flavor... A homerun for what it is intended to be.

hayduke (5188) - Eureka, California, USA - JUL 16, 2015
This was from a growler filled at Paul’s Grocery in McCall, ID. Pours out a gold color almost clear with a big foamy white head and light lacing. Nose of light caramel malts and floral hops Medium in body with a smooth lager mouth feel. Flavor is floral and grassy hops and the finish is grainy and lightly bitter. This is really easy drinking and quite refreshing.

On tap at the fairview BP clear light golden, bright white head Classic light pale malts. Not super dry and easy on the buttering noble hops but tasty easy and a touch sweet. Very nice pale pile flavors

Decent, but overly dry throughout (taste and finish). This dryness diminshes the drinkability/thirst quenching capability of this German classic. Hops prevalent, slightly hazy pale golden body, small airy head.

Bright polished gold... Nice white head.. Clean malt with an obvious floral/spicy hoppiness .. Good bitterness... Very drinkable... Best locally made pilsner IMO... No real flaws.
