It poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma was malty with some light earth tones. The taste was of malts, bread, with earth and floral hops. Thanks Hayduke.

Shared in a joint tasting with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured from the 16 oz can a cola color with a beige head. Nose of toasted malts, ripe fruit, floral hops, and nuts. Medium body, Smooth lager mouthfeel. Flavor is a good balance of malts and hops. The fruit flavor is dominate. Bitterness in finish. Very tastily and easy drinking. Nice,

16 ounce can from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. A big beige head took a while to settle. The beer is amber and quite hazy. A lot of carbonation floating up. The aroma is nice with passion fruit and some spice. Less of both in the flavor but they are there. Some dry Noble hops. Lager least gives a smooth feel. This is quite pleasant and completely inoffensive. It could be an English bitter.

Poured from a point sized can. The aroma is soft bread crust, delicate malty character. The flavor is bready, melanoidin rich, some soft malt sweetness/caramel/toffee. Not a bad beer, I would enjoy more bready malt character.

Amber pour with thin beige head, sticky lacing, light malty aroma. Taste is sweet malt, hints of maple, caramel and toffee. Mouthfeel is slick to watery, with lingering candy sweetness, slightly metallic. Good try, but just average.

Picked up some pounder cans tonight for a pretty expensive $3ish at Brewforia Meridian (will probably be cheaper around town) ... Poured into my big nonic glass... Fairly clear amber red brew with a lite tan head that doesn’t stick around for too long. Nose is big toasty notes with pretty nutty maltiness.. Flavor mirrors the nose... but there is a bit of fruitiness that I can grab but have a hard time identifying.. Not sure if a lager yeast was used; but if not, they did a good job making sure this was a clean rendition of the style. Well done and obviously tastes fresh.... Was lager yeast used? I want to know.

Draft: Pours a dark copper with a medium sized, creamy white head. Nice lacing. Nose is malty with light earth tones. Tastes sweet with malts and light in the earthy and floral areas. Just a bit of breadiness. Nice.

On tap at Sockeye brewing Boise, pours out a clear amber topped with a small off white head. A nice balance of malt and a little hops. Not bad.

Tap at brewpub: Dark amber color with a tan bubbly head and runny lacing. It has a largely malty aroma with spices and pumpkins. The taste is fairly balanced with a bitter taste of fallen leaves and furniture polish. It almost has a metallic something to it that I don’t like, but it is still good. The aftertaste also has notes of pumpkin and light licorice notes. There is lots of carbonation in this thin, but creamy and full brew. It is nothing great, but not too sweet so that’s good for me.
