Extra thanks to boisebeerguy, thanks! Pours a clear dark amber red with a thin off white head and some lacing in the glass. the aroma is of sweet caramel and malt with a hint hops and fruit too, the flavor is of roasted malt and burnt sugar with a caramel and hoppy finish, really strange in the finish, chocolate and hops clash through out but you can really tell during the last half of the drink, pretty different.

Copper amber pour with a thin head. Tastes of earth and Carmel with a smooth finish. Quite potent, yet subtle.

12 oz. can from Buckeyeboy. Thanks! It pours a deep copper red color with a nice, creamy one finger head. The aroma is piney with some cherry wood, light hints of toast and roasted malt. The flavor is the same. Bitter and piney with caramel, red wheat, roasted malt, cherry with a hint of cocoa. Very nice ASA. It packs a potent punch!

drowland (8766) - Georgia, USA - MAR 25, 2010
Had at the Ravenous Pig at RBWG 2010. Pours a nice brown/red with a small white head. The aroma is all old ale with some hops, but the flavor is big sweet and lots of chocolate with plenty of hop bitterness. This is a nice combo of flavors.

Bottle… RBWG ‘10… Cloudy burnt orange ale with a small, short-lived, white head. The nose is fruity, earthy and malty – cascade hops, toffee and caramel. Medium-bodied with laid-back carbonation. Lots of earthy, citrusy hop bitterness. Toffee and caramel undertones. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish. Thanks to jcwattsrugger for sharing!
