UPDATED: JAN 7, 2011 Didn´t have high hopes on this one, but I liked the both sweet and roasted taste. A very, very nice X-mas beer. Goes perfect with some gorgonzola or brie cheese. Try it, you won´t regret it. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 5, 2010
Can 500ml. @ home.larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2010
Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, bread notes, nutmeg notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, bread. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
Biggish beige head. Deep dark red body. Fruity roasty floral meaty aroma. Dryish meaty roasty taste. Sharpish mealy mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish meaty papery aftertaste with roasty notes. Harsh bitterness, too. Did they have a yeast accident? In any case, not a success. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.) bergstaden (2975) - Røros, NORWAY - JAN 10, 2010
Amber with off white head - hints of roasted malt , some hop bitterness , short finish - very thin and not that good Marthinus (276) - DENMARK - JAN 10, 2010
Bottle. Short head. Amber. Light toasted malt aroma with nuances of fruits and caramel. Only light malty body dryer than the aroma seems, lightly toasted with some nice pure smoked tones.

500ml Can (Thanks to my lovely girlfriend, Kristiina) - Brown with red tinges and a foamy head. Fruity aroma with caramel, dried fruit and a metallic hint. Sweet and fruity taste, with malt, toffee, marzipan and raisins. The finish is sweet, slightly bitter and roasted. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2009
Can from Systembolaget.
Very typical old fashioned Scandinavian Christmas beer, sweet malt dominates it all. Boring, standard beer, pick something more inventive! OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 25, 2009
Can from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. Short-lived, beige head. Reddish amber in color, brilliant clarity. Sugary, lightly toasted malt aroma with nuances of tinned fruits and caramel. Light to medium malt body, drier than the arome indicate, lightly toasted with some pepper tones. An apple-ish fruitiness is noticable, also a fair amount of earthy hops. If not diluted, a bit thin in the mouth. Body is quite fizzy and lack some weight . Short, dry malty ending. Not bad, but hard to get the Christmast mood with this one.
