500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki) - shared by MiP - thanks!
Sweet malty aroma, sticky hoppy bitterness. Very full bodied. A bit 1-dimensional with the hoppiness, but it’s not offensive. Plenty of malty body to support the hops.

Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2008
Bottle. Medium high but quickly disappearing light brown head. Hazy red brown body. Only thing I can smell here is hops. Flavor of hops of course but the smooth and oily palate makes this a bit of a bore. Aftertaste though is long with a nice hops bitterness, still very mild and a low carbonated overall impression.

thewolf (12595) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2008
Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Haderslev.
Pours a deep redish brown with a big, creamy, beige-yellow head. Fine duration. Sweet, cloying, fat hoppy aroma. Lots of pine, mango, apricot, lemons and good caramel. Medium carbonation, nice dry mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, very well-balanced caramel upon a strong, hoppy presence. Exceptional balance - wonderful beer from the ’new’ Søgaard.

Jonte (1413) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2008 Bottle at the Brewpub. Amber/brown and cloudy color with a beige head. Aroma and taste of citrus, flowers, pine, wood and caramel. High bitterness. Much better then their Am. Pale Ale.

austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - AUG 7, 2008
Bottle @ SOPP. Dark reddish brown, nice espresso like head. Intensely hopped nose, pine, sweetish caramel malts. Nicely balanced, malts and pitchy hops. Bitter, spicy peppery finish. Medium bodied, smooth palate. A very pleasant surprise, very fresh and intense IPA.
