Hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and very spicy cinnamon. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Watery. Dominated by the cinnamon. 101205 oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 16, 2011
Bottled (from Estate Wine "upstairs cellar", BBE 07/2006). Rubyish brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. ARoma is quite spicy and yeasty along with some sweet and mildly roasted malts. Flavour is very similar along with some toffee and mild herbal notes. Not that much hoppyness left, but has developed into a quite nice thing over the years. Japalo (1887) - DENMARK - FEB 10, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2012 Bottle. Slight malty aromas. Dark brown hazy. Taste of Christmas. Prefer a stronger brew for this style. . Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2007
Fynske Øldage 2005, Odense. Beautiful red mahogany color and a nice head. The nose is met by clove and tangerine and I find these notes in the flavour too together with sweetness, roasted malt, caramel and some dark fruits. It’s a nice Chrismas beer, but I would like it to have more body. LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2006
Extremely spicy (cloves and other christmas spices) but unfortunately also quite watery. Moreover, I find the high acidity unpleasant.

Got this for 20kr on sale after christmas which isn’t bad, so how is it? Pours dark brownred (looks like gløgg) with a small tan head. Aroma is very christmas dominated by clove and sweet berries and sweet candy, nice! Flavor is milder, but still with a taste of christmas. Clove again, cinnamon and malt. Dry finish. Not a bad beer and definately one of the better from this otherwise disappointing brewery. Habanero (4718) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2006
Bottle: hazy red colour. Nice beige head. Christmas spices in the noise: cinnamon, cloves and oranges. Ginger and the other spices in the flavour - some sweetness and malt too. It is rather light bodied and with a thin palate for a winter brew. Little aftertaste of some malt and a faint bitterness. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2005
50 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Reddish nut brown colour with a nice head. Very spicy aroma, lot of cinnamon and some sourness ind the smell. A very dry flavour with spicy and roasted notes. TBone (17680) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 26, 2005

Dark ruby color, tan head. Spicey nose: ginger, cinnamon and clove. Malty with same spices than in the aroma. Some grassy and chocolaty hoppy notes in the finish. A bit too simple and thin but drinkable as such, could have higher ABV to be more Christmasy.
Pours red/brown with a tanned head. Sour and a bit like a spicy beer, mixed with a weak beer. Aromas of malt, allspice and cloves. Not a good mix.
