Growler. It pours a clear, glowing dark reddish body under a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma caramel and pale malts, some pleasant grassy and peppery hops and some roasted hints. The flavor has caramel, dried fruits, a roasted hint and a faint note of butterscotch. Medium to full body, quite dry, and a bit hard on the carbonation. Pleasant bitterness in the end. A decent one, but I’d prefer other dark bocks to this one. 120218
