Sample from 75 cL bottle (thanks to faroeviking for getting a bottle of this beer that have kept me sleepless...). Pours light orange. aroma is malty. Followed by a taste of caramel maltness. Very little hops. This felt short of everything.

Ungstrup (38152) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2007
Draft. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light touch of hops. The flavor is sweet with medium notes of hops, giving it a dry bitter and grassy finish, but the body is somewhat thin. Boring for the style, but still drinkable.

Bottled. Slightly hazy orangeish pale brown colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some floral and fruity notes along with some grassy and hayish notes. Flavour is bready malts, some mild caramel malts, fruits and some mild grassy and hayish notes as well. Quite standard APA

omhper (25378) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 15, 2007
Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy pale amber. Grassy nose. Some grapefruity hops seep through the papery, buttery malt. Medium bodied with notes of lychee. Finishes with medium bitterness. Underhopped for the style.

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2007 (On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Very neutral aroma - perhaps a vague whiff of caramel. Light body - actually a bit watery - with a discreet touch of caramel and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. Bland. 110507

(Bottle 50 cl) As "Søgaard Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2007". Courtesy of faroeviking. Slightly hazy amber golden with a tall, dense, of-white head leaving laces. Malty nose with a whiff of smoke. Medium-bodied with sweetish, lightly caramelish malt accents and then a somewhat unrefined bitterness. 6/3/5/2/10=2.6 060407

Rasmus40 (21474) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2011
Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is malt, caramel and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. A bit watery and thin bodied. Not bad but lacking both in malts and bitterness. 110311

fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 31, 2012
Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy amber color. Nice aroma of caramelly malts, with good hop, a bit citrusy. Good malt and caramel flavor, with lean body, some yeast; the hop is resiny and has light fruitiness. The bitterness is strong.
Good sturdy beer.
