[Tap] Ruddy copper colored pour with a soapy looking head. Aromas of dark fruit, caramel malts and subtle Belgian yeast notes. Flavors include caramel, yeasty phenols, molasses, earthy hops, light citrus and fig. Sticky mouthfeel. Mild barnyard character develops as you drink more of it. Decent stuff. Tasting notes from 10/2014. madvike (3250) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 30, 2014
On tap at GTMW - Pours reddish-amber with a ring of tan head. Nose is citrus, a little funk, and lots of maltiness. Taste is lightly fruity malt, a little grassy bitter hops, and a bit of grapefruit. Smooth, with a medium-thin body. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2014
Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Clear reddish-amber color with a medium creamy light beige head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Aroma of yeast, hops and fruit. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, yeast and spiced fruit. The finish is fruity with a floral yeast aftertaste. Above average overall. napdynmite (91) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2014
Strange beer. It tastes like Belgian light. The smell is a bit off to me. Chemical perhaps. Flavor is mild with clove and brown sugar. Not overly hoppy or malty really but balanced. Drinkable but the smell is rough. Lubiere (13780) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2014
A reddish brown ale with mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with dark fruits, coriander, light smokeyness, interesting. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, light Brett notes, coriander, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Emporium.
