Keg at Sugar Maple, 9/17/16. Clear golden, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of pale biscuity malt, floral hops. The taste is doughy pale malt, herbal and grassy hops. Medium bodied, well balanced.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Tap] Bright golden color with a fairly small head. Great lacing is evident on the sides of the glass. Tons of perfume in the nose, maybe more so than any other beer I have had. Grassy notes with light cracker flavors. Dough, more perfume, grass, light sweet malts and a soft hoppy finish. Decently complex and very drinkable at the same time.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft on tap at the brewery (Naperville, IL). Pours a pale straw yellow hue, just a kiss of haze but more of a sunny dry glow throughout. Lively bubbles, frothy bright white head atop dies to a decent filmy layer, good stick around and lacing as it tapers. Aromas are clean and dry, firmer grass, earthy hops and gentle kiss of lemon meets dry grainy malts, crackers and straw, touches of fresh bread. Clean, dry, bitter and almost a bit spicy/herbal/weedy. Initial is dry, lighter bodied with some firm bitterness nipping quickly. Green, leafy bitter hops show weedy and grassy elements, a bit of fruit, bready malts and straw. More dry, gentle cereal elements into the middle. Some earth, lemon, firmer earthy bitterness, a bit spicy as we hit the backend. Clean, bitter finish that leaves this refreshing, crushable with some complexity. Nice stuff!
