A night lighter in color than I would like but the nice mellow flavor made up for it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at brewery. Nose is lightly tart with a white wine barrel character. Holy cow. Soft lemons with some orange peel. This beer is amazeballs. Flavor shows off more of the citrus and soft malt character. A light mineral character. Class act.

On tap, poured into a stemmed tulip. The aroma is overall very mild, with notes of soapy with a damp funk and a light lemon and bread dough poking through. The beer is clear with a brilliant yellow hue and a white, soap suds head, and a wispy surface with decent retain and decent lace. The taste is a medium bitter and medium light sweet. The texture is slick and thin with a sprtizy carbonation and a medium light body that has the flavor of under ripe peaches and citrus with a grain like quality to the crisp finish that contains peppery notes. Overall it’s clean with a long, fresh aftertaste that has mild, bitter grapefruit rind and herb.

This is a nice little Belgian pale. On draft, it was perfectly clear pils yellow with a creamy had. It’s nose is a good mix of fruit and spice from the yeast and the hops. It is light bodied, crisp, tasty and very drinkable. If you like hoppy Belgians, this will be right up your alley.

Dfonorow (2250) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 2, 2014
On tap at Haymarket. Pour is hazy yellow/orange with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor of pine needles, lemon peel, pepper spice, grass, and bubblegum. Finish is slightly bitter and spicy.
