Draft pour on tap at the brewery (Naperville, IL). Pours a hazy straw yellow hue, firm haziness, with touches of dulled yellow glow. Frothy brighter white head, dies to a decent ring and laces small. Aromas are gentle bready malts, a bit doughy with some fruity banana and apple. Straw, gentle spice, yeast and a bit of coriander. Mellow dryness with some lemongrass, distinct on the nose. Vanilla bean and cool sweetness work in as it warms more. Initial is lighter body, contrast with the bready and dry malts, cereal. Bread, some cool vanilla grows. Gentle dry malts, dry straw, mellow yeast. Touches of coriander, less fruity as bready dry malts and lingering vanilla take the reigns. Back is cool, lingering lemongrass, straw, gentle dry yeast. Simple, clean, allow the treatment to do some work, but still pretty light. Headbanger (3992) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 9, 2012
4oz draft brewery-Pours a cloudy yellowish orange with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, and slight vanilla. Taste of banana, lemongrass, wheat, and slight vanilla. This light bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. Wish there was more vanilla.
