Draft at Jerry’s. Muddy orange-amber with good, creamy, off-white head / Brilliant, weedy nose of citrus, caramel, and fresh cut pine / Medium body, some sweetness, just a touch watery, but with good balance and bitter finish / Flavors of orange, grapefruit, passion fruit, cut pine, caramel, and bubblegum / Body issues detract from the strong flavor profile, but still a fine beer and effort from this new brewer. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Super cloudy draft at Hopleaf. Tons of sticky white head. Hoppy, smooth. Peach flavor. Great beer Imperial_Scout (363) - Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Poured in Pint glass. Pours light amber. Citrus pine, floral, and sweet nose. Starts bitter then mellows out nicely with sweet malt. A great standard IPA. Christpuncher (3112) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2013
This is an excellent ipa. Really smooth with a hint of wheat. Nice and bitter and pours a golden yellow.

Highly drinkable and inoffensive. Had three and maintained consistency and drinkability. Good hoppiness. Not complex.
On tap at Lantern in Naperville.

Draught at the brewery. Dark copper amber with a moderate off-white head, little lacing. Full floral citrus hop aroma and flavor with mild balance. Nicely bitter and rounded. Perfect carbonation. Great full flavored IPA. DrnkMcDermott (3099) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Draft pint at Standard Market. $4! A cloudy, yellowish brown, somewhat accentuated by the yellow from the Two Brothers logo on the tumbler they served it in thin foam ring. Hoppy smell of Amarillos or their kin. Taste is big big big on hops; mostly pine needles and resin, delivering its primary blast to the back half of the mouth. Not really a Double IPA, just a hopped up one. Served a little too cold, but maybe I don’t want to be there when it warms up. Then there’s a smooth, just slightly sweet and nutty malt bill to keep this beer in its cage. A gobstopping beer experience. AWISLguy (3109) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 1, 2012
On tap at Whirlyball in Vernon Hills to celebrate my other brother’s 40th. Pours orangey-brown with a bit of an off-white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma has fresh fruit, citrus and some resin. Taste is of bitter citrus, resin, somewhat sticky with some sweet caramel. Well balanced. Finishes nicely bittersweet and long. Very nice IPA; everything I am looking for when I go to a place and order one. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Pours a clean orange color with a low, foamy, white head that quickly fades. Aroma has a strong citrus nose with light pine notes. Some light sweetness from the grain bill but the hops definitely dominates this brew. Flavor has a strong pine flavor up front with a modest/strong grapefruity kick following it. The malt and alcohol stays in the background keeping it a bit more dryer which is extremely welcomed by this rater. The body is perfect with a light body paired with sharp carbonation and pronounced dryness that compliments the pine/grapefruity character of the beer well. With the low alcohol and low sweetness it puts the focus on the hops and prevents a cloying sweetness or grain alcohol extracted hops flavor some recent IPAs exhibit. The bitterness in this brew is perfect. Overall a new go to beer for this rater. hopheadsbrew (142) - Illinois, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Very cloudy orange. Fruit and sweet candy nose. Sweet malt and very hoppy. Dry finish.
