Draft pint at Standard Market. $4! A cloudy, yellowish brown, somewhat accentuated by the yellow from the Two Brothers logo on the tumbler they served it in thin foam ring. Hoppy smell of Amarillos or their kin. Taste is big big big on hops; mostly pine needles and resin, delivering its primary blast to the back half of the mouth. Not really a Double IPA, just a hopped up one. Served a little too cold, but maybe I donít want to be there when it warms up. Then thereís a smooth, just slightly sweet and nutty malt bill to keep this beer in its cage. A gobstopping beer experience.
22 oz bottle from Binnyís South Loop from notes. Pours a color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted bready malts, light caramel, piney hops, citrus, moderate bitterness, decent enough. Niko100 (2891) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 7, 2016
Nice amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of citrus hops, some caramel, & tropical fruit; Flavor of malt/biscuit, yeast, pine hops, and citrus rind; Finish is dry & fairly bitter; Not bad. Troupis (247) - - JAN 29, 2016
Highly drinkable and inoffensive. Had three and maintained consistency and drinkability. Good hoppiness. Not complex.

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with a foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, caramel, and citrus. Taste juicy hops, pine, and citrus. There is also a strong caramel taste. Long lingering hop bitterness. Light bodied, without being thin. Drinks real easy. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

On tap, poured into a shaker. Grapefruit and pine aromas come through with orange notes late. Hazy bronze-orange colored beer is topped by a soft, dense, white foam head that reduces to a medium thick ring, with a fuzzy surface and a messy, runny lace (only a bit sticks). The taste is a medium / medium-high bitter and medium sweet. Itís smooth with a creamy carbonation. Thr medium full body has flavors of sweet orange, and some bread crust upfront with grassy pine and ctirus rind bitter at itís finish. Itís astringent with flavors of pine and grapefrruit rind lingering. vikingguy (1101) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - NOV 13, 2014
Gold in color. Citrus aroma. Taste- light biscuity malt and lemon peel. Resinous hops. Solid IPA.

Tap at the taproom. Orange pour with a white frothy head. Big citrus hop nose with a bit of pine / dank. Juicy taste. Lively palate. Excellent. Tmoney99 (14374) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 22, 2014
Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy spruce and citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations. wlajwl (6749) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 20, 2014
Aroma is citrus, toffee and a background of spices and bread. The flavor is citrus, relatively strong fruit/raspberries, malts, mild sweetness and a dry/tart/bitter finish.
