12oz pour at Frontier. Yellow hazy, light head and lacing. Nose of belgian yeast and spicy herbs, moderate hops and malt. Thin flavor though, not much in the yeast areas in the tail. Meh.

Draft, pours hazed yellow with white head. Nose has overpowering cardamom, coriander and florals. Flavors have a strong ginger that’s pretty surprising, really floral and sweet honey malt. Thin body, feel is full though. Spritzy carbonation. Spicing doesn’t really come together and the nose consistent with the flavor. This is really a spice beer Adam. deyholla (11597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 27, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a decent amount of banana and sweet grains with some backing lavender. Flavor has banana and earthy grains with backing lavender and other light spice. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Draft at Jerry’s. Cloudy yellow with big, foamy, white head, good lacing / Mild, elegant nose of citrus, soap, clove, spice / Light to medium body, a hint thiny, some sweetness but fine hop balance and lightly bitter finish / Flavors of lemon, orange, pear, rose hip, lavender, ginger, clove, coriander, cream / Very nice, but the flavors are a little muddy, and the body very light although only 5%. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 12, 2013
A very nice spiced ale, coriander and lemon add a nice citrusy spice. Ginger prevalent.

Draft on tap at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). Quick stop after Solemn Oath. Luckily found this here! Wasn’t on anymore at the brewery. Pours a mellow hazed dulled golden hue, a bit darker and dulled middle, firmer haze. Some golden orange glow as we move out to the edges. A bit brighter and lively. A frothy whitish head dies to a mellow ring, laces ok. Aromas are touches of lemon, florals, and grass. Some wheaty malts, bread and a bit of dough. Some citrus, gentle orange, some gentle florals and grass. As it warms, some more Belgian yeast strikes, some lively spice, oranges, and some mellow fruity esters put in. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, firm Belgian yeast presence, a bit spicy. Bready, some earthy florals, gentle wafts of citrus. A decent dryness prevails, some gentle apple, bready and doughy, cereal grains are the backbone here. Dry and mellow sweetness, cereal. The yeast element starts to die out as you move through. Some gentle or decent dry hops, lingering yeast with touches of fruit as we finish up. This kinda reminds me of the Mr. Inappropriate base if it didn’t have a ridiculous American hopping. It’s good, it’s solid, it’s a bit spicy and yeasty for me but I can see the crowd that gets this. Ok. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 19, 2013

On draught at apex - pours nice golden color. Head that quickly dissipates. Nose of clove and spices. Can definitely taste the coriander and hints of lavender. Refreshing beer.

On tap @ Farmhouse. Hazy medium gold, whispy film of a head. Aroma is sweet, spicy, and floral. Estery palate, prominent florals and fresh ginger spice, sweet pale malts. This brewery is very creative-- loved both of their beers I’ve tried thus far.
