22 oz bottle shared by drsordr. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet caramel malts, grapefruit citrus, tropical fruits, resiny hops, light floral notes, moderate bitterness, a bit better than the ratings suggest in my opinion.

Bottle shared with alexsdad06 pour unusual layered amber at bottom to hazy gold at top with moderate white head. Nose huge grapefruit, tropical fruit, resin, nice hop. Taste moderate bitter up front, then grapefruit, mango and kiwi, then balancing sweetness. Light bitter finish.

Scipio (1046) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2016
Pours a clear copper with a thin white head that disappeared almost instantly. The aroma contains citrus hops, resin, pine, and caramel. The taste has a good balance of bitter and sweet without either one being extreme. Pine, apple, grapefruit, and orange, and caramel. The aftertaste is grapefruit and lingers with you. This is medium bodied, has a rather slick texture, is about average in carbonation. Not bad overall, though not very memorable.

22 oz bomber into a shaker. Very dark copper color, huge, quickly fading off-white head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is very fruity, bitterness is kept to a minimum. This is a medium bodied, creamy brew, softly carbonated, and goes down very smoothly. This is the first packaged beer I’ve had from Solemn Oath after visiting their tap room. I liked this very much and will put it on my "have another" list.

Bomber served in a tulip glass. I know the abv is listed at 7.7 but my bottle says 8.0. Interesting, maybe it changed. Anyway, on to it. The beer pours a fairly clear burnt amber orange with a thin white head that leaves little lacing. Aroma is dank pine, caramel, bread, and some tropical fruits. Taste is pine resin right up front. There are also citrus and tropical fruit flavors, as well as caramel. It lingers on your palate a bit and the alcohol is well hidden. Not a bad beer, just kind of underwhelming.

AirForceHops (7144) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 7, 2014
650 ml bottle, purchased at Binny’s Lincoln Park. Mostly clear Amber color with fizzy head. Aroma is light citrus, with abundant amount of pine needles and resin

Flavor is light mango and peach upfront, caramel sweetness through the center with a big strong lingering pine in the finish. Brewers decrepit io in the label is exactly what is delivered here.
