This is an old school IPA w/ considerable malty sweetness to it. It works. It’s got a great big citrus nose with some pine needle undertones. It’s rather full bodied and a touch heavy on the palate but the sweetness does seem to bring out some depth to the fruity nose. It finishes w/ some lingering sweetness and a solid but not overbearing dose of bitterness. This is a definite taste of 2008 but it’s really well done. It’s not light enough to be really drinkable but it tastes good enough you wish it was. Scipio (1180) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - JUN 30, 2016
Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. The aroma is very fruity, with pineapple, peach, mango, and grapefruit. These impressions are complimented with grassy hops. The taste initially gives you a sharp bitterness. I find pineapple and mango, as well as a healthy amount of citrus hops. There are some subtler notes of pine and grapefruit. Lighter pineapple aftertaste. Average in body, with a slick texture, and some lively carbonation. Not spectacular, but pretty good still. drpimento (3734) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2016
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2017 Odd duck here. Aroma is a bit like a year old free pit but without the smoke. Flavor’s super smooth and balanced.
Edit..This time Aroma’s more fruit, fresh hop, pineapple, malt. Flavor loses most of the fruit and gains bitter, though has nice bittersweet finish. scarletfire65 (1491) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 15, 2016
Draft at Kasey’s Tavern in Chicago. Aroma of tropical fruits and flowery hops. Lots of mango, peach, and apricot notes. The body is close to full, and the mouthfeel is big and chewy. A bright, vibrant, fresh, fruity IPA with great hop expression and a bitter finish. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 23, 2016

On tap. Clear yellow apricot with a average white head. Aroma is citrus, papaya, and caramel. Taste is grapefruit, orange, some tropical flavors, and a caramel malt backbone. Average mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. Good beer. gyllenbock (9711) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2016
On tap at Howell & Hood, Chicago.
Hazy golden with a white head. Fresh and quite hoppy with mango, pineapple and some hints of soap. The body was medium and the finish bitter. Quite good.

Disappointing IPA - "urinal" is the only word I can think of to describe the palate. On tap at TopGolf.

Did not like. I don't know what people taste in any beer from this brewery. I even wanted it to be good as it is local. malkyore (377) - - SEP 8, 2015
Euphoric. Huge peppery aroma explodes out of the glass! You’re temporary blindness gives way to a startling complexity as your olfactory senses hone to fill the gap left by your inability to see. Candied fruit and orange peel pour over your tounge, a delicious arrangement of flavors. Fantastic is an understatement. Sublime is an insult. This beer is positively euphoric.
