On tap @ Farmhouse. Hazy light orange, soapy white head, thick and clingy. Aroma is deeply piney, pungent and filled with forest. Oily, hoppy resinous piney palate, low sweetness, long bitterness. An archetypical American IPA. Superb. gyllenbock (9840) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2016
On tap at Howell & Hood, Chicago.
Hazy golden with a white head. Fresh and quite hoppy with mango, pineapple and some hints of soap. The body was medium and the finish bitter. Quite good.

Draft on tap at the Solemn Oath Taproom (Naperville, IL). Pours a rich hazed golden amber pour, gentle glow and some fiery sunny bottom and edges with a deeper dulled middle. Cakey offwhite head is a good bigger size, dies down to a good thick layer, laces well. Sticks around well. Aromas are a fresh lively knockout of juicy citrus, a big dose of grapefruit, lemons, and oranges mix with kicks of tropical fruit, florals, and more tangerine. Touches of bready malts, soap, and gentle crisp cereal grains. Really, this thing is a fresh and vibrant hop dose. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied preaching a big bitterness to kick off the experience. Bitter pine and florals kick the palate with some juicy citrusy grapefruit, lemons, and oranges kicking things off past that. Juicy hops, kicks of tropical fruit, bubblegum and gentle toasty and bready malt elements. Firm bigger bitterness hangs on through the middle and into the finish, soapy and dry with firm florals, bitter resinous pine. Touches of grapefruit juice really flood the palate into the middle and backend. Sweetness stays away as this lighter bodied overall and very dry IPA really amps up the fresh hop profile. Bitter, lively, and fresh. More flavoring hops could up the complexity a bit, but overall this is a great summer IPA that is fresh, certainly doesn’t skimp on the hops, and is quite enjoyable. It does what it is supposed to, hops, fresh, quite drinkable with a light body, rich bitterness, grapefruit and pine, dryness throughout. Pretty good, big grapefruit juice element.

Clear amber color with ivory head. Good pine, floral hoppy aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Nice, but not super hoppy pine, floral flavors with a caramel sweetness----good BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Tap @ The Beer Bistro on IPA Day and served in standard pint glass: Hazy golden hue with a lovely frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of pine, grapefruit, mango, apricot, slight herbs and flowers, biscuity malt and some "damp clothes". The taste is very well balanced, smooth opening bitterness countered by light to moderate fruitiness and mild malt presence. Slight hop spice character to the finish. The mouth feel displays a moderate body and carbonation, slightly minerally and metallic finish. A solid brew but not anything special. Would drink again if given the opportunity. nuplastikk (6452) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 3, 2015
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2017 Tap at Solemn Oath. Filtered bronze-tan body. Big whitehead. The aroma is rather subdued, but nice. The flavor is better. Juicy, thick hop tones. Quality new school IPA all the way. Just full of juicy, earthy hop tones. Not much bitterness. Toasty malt backbone, has some depth, but the hops are what makes it World Class. Solid brew....couple years later in the can and this would get about a 3.4..not that impressive but keeping the original rate for historic purposes.
