Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2016
Yellow with white sticky head. Crisp, hoppy, fruity and good. Lemon, bitter. Yum. Had this as part of a flight at Solvang Brewery. arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 12, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pine, lemon, some orange into grass, some earthy notes, touch of bread and doughy notes in there as well. Taste was a mix of grain, some bread, touch of yeasty, doughy notes into a bit of citrus, pine notes, finishing bitter. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - JUL 27, 2013

A clear golden pour with white head. Citrus peel hops, a bit of pine, and some floral hops. Light grass notes, too. Bread, toasted malt, and a bit of caramel sweetness. The flavor is decently hoppy, but is overly grassy. Fairly sweet, too. Caramel, bread, and toffee. There’s a decent citrus note and some pine bitterness.

Dark golden hue. Moderately long lasting head. Not filtered. Aggressively hopped but not unreasonable. Nicely balanced. Some itrus notes on the nose and through the taste. True to style. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Some pretty decent hops to the aroma. Looks good. Aah, the first really bitter beer I had the entire California trip (a month ago). It really isn’t anything extraordinary but that’s okay, as I’ve just been craving a hop beer for awhile. This works. eboats (1082) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 9, 2012

On tap at brewpub. Medium amber, thin white head leaves spotty lace. Somewhat fruity bmalts, and brash citrus hops. Flavor has toasty malts, and a dry hoppy character with ample piney and herbal hops, a little earthy as well with a hint of spicy finish. Medium body, tingly carbonation.
