I was thinking that I was still able to find this beer, it is not the case anymore. I remembered that it was already hard to find this beer, even in the province of St.Gallen.I found it in one Spar, a bit outside of the city. It was a regular black beer, on the Bavarian way, brown body, white and brown foam, malty, sweet, some hop, a bit watery, some roasted malt, average one.

Bottle. Pours cola brown with a medium tanned head that diminished. Sweet malt aroma and flavour of caramel, chocolate and nuts. Thin-medium bodied. Low bitterness. Tangy malt finish.

Embrouille (2848) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 19, 2008
Bottled 50cl. It pours a clear dark brown beer with a lightly tanned head. The aroma is buttery malty with a metallic component. Sweet grainy taste with some (a small amount) of caramel showing up. Metallic. Biscuity and rather citrussy. Decent lacing. Some bitterness. Buttery finish with some hops showing up. A dissapointing Dunkel.

Brownish amber color. Very poor, absolutely simple aroma and undistinguishable flavor. Not even the caramel!

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2010 from Bierhütte - clear and bright bordeaux-brown colour with a modest foam left; aroma of butterscotch with some flowery notes; medium-bodied and quite sweet; some late corny tartness; the finish is decently malty with toasted notes
